I know everyone doesn't like the idea of cutting their exhaust...which makes sense figuring how much some systems cost especially if they resell it down the road. I personally wouldn't mind having a shorter version of the bumper. A few suggestions: I always thought the stock bumpers line was cut alittle too sharp. I think you should smooth-out (make the angle alittle more round) the angle where the bumper drops vertically especially if you keep the stock length (seeing from your pic it kinda looks like you did this already but cant tell from the back.) This will distinguish it alittle more from stock. Also, I think your idea of cutting out vent slots for the extended center area is to reduce drag is something that would work (also distinguishes the bumper alittle more from stock) and for the 1,000th time diffuser option. I know going into production you want a general mold (census says stock length) but, also you should consider making a few shorter variations also. Lastly, Great work so far and I really like how your asking for input. I think you will sell these becuase of it.
